EU remains steadfast on July 1 embargo of Iranian oil

GasBuddy Blog -- Have three rounds of talks between the U.N. Security Council and Iran yielded any positive results that might bring Iran any closer to canceling its pursuit of nuclear weapons?

We may learn, once again, that money rather than compelling and rigorous rhetoric and global scrutiny does indeed hold the greatest power of persuasion.

Earlier this week the P5+1 group (U.S., Russia, China, Britain France and Germany) met with Iranian negotiators in Moscow for their third round of talks. How close was Iran to compromise?

Iran outlined its legal case for enriching uranium to 20 percent and, according to the Christian Science Monitor "held fast to its demand that the P5+1 recognize its "inalienable right" to enrich uranium...

Israel has been active with their nuclear refining equipment cyber attacks and bombing the cars of nuclear scientists vehicles from motorcycles. And, whatever else they have been doing that we do not know about. Extend the Iranian sanctions to financial transactions? Then Japan will insure their oil tankers! Iran cannot close the Strait of Hormuz, the US or Israel will bomb them! Iran will react to the lack of money! Once Iranian that heavy, sour crude oil has been cut off, where will the EU get the oil that was lost? More competition from the oil that is left and driving the price up more? Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, Produce and ‘Drive’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe and reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. Consider using other forms of less expensive transportation to lower your cost, if possible. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! 12/22/2012!
